Kalem Djordjevic nursery has a very long tradition and more than a century of grafting expertise and planting material production in Serbia.
Years of experience, the latest technologies, as well as constant improvement of grafting techniques that we implement into planting material production, allow us to produce top quality of grafted trees and plants.
We produce certified grafted fruit trees and grapevine plants for professional plantations but also, we can offer a wide range of trees and plants for hobby gardening: columnar and patio fruit trees, duo family fruit trees, berries, a large selection of shrub roses, as well as standard roses 120cm height and patio mini standard roses 60cm height.
Guarantee of quality
The planting material production is controlled and analyzed by the expert services of the Plant Protection Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture of Republic of Serbia.
Therefore, our customers receive healthy, varietal accurate and certified planting material with all necessary documentation and official certificates. Planting material can be certified with blue label and CAC (standard) with orange label.
We have GLOBAL G.A.P. certificate for rose plants for ensuring the quality and safety of a final product. GGN: 4063651988628
Professional plantations
We produce certified fruit trees and grapevine plants for professional plantations.
Therefore, if you are planning a large plantation, it’s very important that you contact us in advance so we can arrange cooperation details.
Before the grafting season starts, we must be informed about needed fruit or grape varieties and clones, quantity, types of rootstocks for grafting, packaging preferences, and any other specific requests. This will allow us to produce plants exactly as you wished and ensure precise selection, preparation, and timely delivery of the plants with the best quality.
You can also send us varieties of fruit trees and grape plants from your plantations and we will graft them for you.
Packaging and exclusive design
Over the years, we have specialized in serving wholesale customers and market stores.
We provide the service of designing and printing for packaging of our plants according to the customers’ needs. We can print your brand logo on our packaging, declaration of products on your language, EAN codes and other information as you wish.
The planting material can be root packed, waxed, and individually packaged for retail.
We pack trees and plants as:
- bare root in bundle of 10 pcs or 25 pcs
- root packed with wet sawdust and wrapped with PVC foil
- root packed with certified peat moss into pots or PVC bags
- packed root ball into designed carton box or PVC bag
Export and delivery
We deliver our fruit trees, grapevine and rose plants to EMEA countries (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
We understand the importance of timely deliveries. We work diligently to ensure customers’ orders are processed efficiently and delivered promptly, maintaining the freshness and vitality of the plants. That is why we use exclusively refrigerated trucks and containers under a controlled temperature regime for transport which guarantees the safety and quality of the fruit trees, grape plants, berry plants, standard roses, patio roses and shrub rose plants.
We use custom made wooden box pallets with IPPC stamp which comply to ISPM 15 regulation for international shipping. Custom made box pallets ensure goods are safeguarded during handling and transit.
